Role: Graphic Design,Visual Identity, Creative Direction
Six Feet Beneath the Moon is a redesign of King Krule’s debut album. I wanted to take the project in a different direction from the orginals illustration based design. I focused more on typography. I was inspired by the album’s darker themes of loneliness, isolation, depression, and grief, but also by the small hints of light that come through in the music. I wanted the design to feel raw, rough, and emotionally heavy without losing the atmosphere of the original album.
